Currently i am sitting in a patients room watching them so that they do not cause harm to themselves while watching David Letterman.......(wow that make me look good) This week on the
DL show is "U2 Week" meaning that they are performing this whole week because they came out with yet another amazing album "No Line On The Horizon." I absolutely love this band, its weird to think i have loved them since 1991 (yes, that is 17 years) when i first heard "With or Without You" when my little sister passed away. I know this is cheesy but this band has seriously gotten me through what i thought were hard times. Not only does "With or Without You" have meaning to me, but also "Walk On" from their album "All That You Can't Leave Behind." I got this album for Christmas freshman year, the worst school year of my life. I seriously hated this Christmas because it was one that changed things in my life. My brother Nathan was on his mission, my sister Meghann got married and left earlier to Arizona that morning, and my mother had to work that afternoon, and life at school
wasnt any better. This song "Walk On" pretty much helped me learn to live for the future, no matter whats going on in the past and present, just keep walking on and things will get better.
Now i had such an awesome quote to go with what i was saying but i totally butchered it and came up with something on my own because of my silly brain fart from trying to think at 12:30am. But if anyone knows what i am thinking of, tell me. because i remember it being a good one and i want to add it to my list of good quotes aka facebook.
ANYWAYS, i will forever love this band. They will never get replaced even when they are old, gray and eventually moving onto the after life.
Bono, Edge, Larry and Adam you four have rocked my world.
AHHHHH i cant wait for there tour!!!! i have to have the best seats in the house!!!!
XOXO
P.S. sorry for the many many blogs in a short amount of time, i cant help it when things flutter into my brain
