who do i look like?

The other day my mom and i were looking in the mirror and i was trying see if their is anything that makes me look like her besides the height, bad knees, eye sight and such, and i didnt see anything! When i was in junior high my friend Brooke Bennett came over to my house saw only my mom and asked me if i was adopted..... i laughed of course and said to her, wait until you see my dad. Now about a year ago i went to visit my mom and another nurse tells us " you two look so alike" HA! my mom and i looked at each other with no we dont expressions on our faces. let me know what you think, do i look like my mom or do i look like my dad?

One Year and 169 days!

Today i was thinking about my birthday, usually i hate thinking about my very own holiday just because i turn one year older. ( i know i am too young to feel this way, but hey im going to) But i realized that i am 534 days away from the most important birthday of my life, at least so far. It is when i become a complete independent from my parents, yes that means i pay for my own health insurance, car insurance, the whole shabang! I am not exactly excited about this but i know that it will help me grow into a more mature gal that will make me more into a responsible person. But what i am really excited is to plan my EUROPE TRIP!!!!! i know i shouldnt even be thinking about this, but occasionally i find myself looking up flights to Rome, Italy or Paris, France to see how much it would cost me. Their is so much that i want to see over seas that i know i would have to make more than one trip. I would love to just take a month off of work and just bum, yes i said it bum my way through the cities that i want to visit. Eat and sleep cheap so that i can spend money on the fun things like bungie jumping off incrediable high bridge, or by cool things at the flee markets and of course by some nice things ;) My first stop would 

have to be Italy, my sister and her husband went there for two weeks and i know i would have to be there for about that same amount of time because i want to see Florence, Rome, Venice, and Vatican city.

My next stop on my european adventure would be Barcelona, Paris, and Greece and Greek Isle. Im skipping London BECAUSE i told myself a long time ago that i want to see a butterfly event during the olympics plus London on its own i hear isnt that fabulous, so i am planning a London/other place vacation in 2012! YAAAAHHHHH

I am so excited for this summer, if anyone wants to come your more than welcome, this will be a fun and CHEAP trip.

temptation conquered

yesterday was a very interesting day, i did my normal things like go to class, the gym and the grocery store. But between the gym and the grocery store one of my little temptations surfaced. TANNING! i told myself that i was going to go pale this winter. The last time i was pale during winter was probably freshman year of high school when my great mother introduced me to the tanning salons. Now i hate to admit this but i was a tannaholic, i probably went three time in one day (of course this was in high school) and this is quite imbarrassing for me, then when i was out of high school i realized how bad it was so i went down to going once a day, now that doesnt mean i still didnt go as much. i still probably went everyday, i really dont remember, until this last year when i came home for the summer. I rarely went to the "death bed" and i hardly went to the Tennis Club to lay out. Now to get to my point, i was doing sooo good until yesterday when i went to Tahiti Tanning where i bought a month pass and gave in to the tempation. and i will let you know this, though i missed the smell i will not go back to my old ways of going over board wit the tanning. like my mom said back in the day "you are so dark, when you sit on the leather couch, i cant see you" Dont worry mom, you will see me!

The 3 Amigos

My older sister has three boys that i dont get to see enough of. Each are my favorite in there own special way. Tyler has so much energy and can make you laugh so hard by just doing the simplest things, he is also very calm and from what i have seen mellow. Blake i have a feeling will be a dare devil because my sister told me a story about how she was in the kitchen with Blake and she stepped out for a little bit then came back and Blake was holding a hand towel engulfed in flames, and he didnt even get burned!! (he put the towel in the oven, then pulled it out). Now Porter, oh porter porter porter. This kid i swear is so intelligent! he knows what going on around him and loves to have fun and yet he is a huge hand full, but i love him! The best part about these three boys is not only the hugs and kisses but when they call me Aunt Jocy! I LOVE IT!! i cant wait to see these boys!
