Who Knew?

Yesterday i was being very lazy, i was just watching tv all day long because i had to be awake for my night shift.  I was down stairs watching "Made" on MTV when of commercial came on for the next Real World: Brooklyn. During the commercial a guy made a comment about how he wants to change the way others view mormonism, that we can have fun too. So right then it drew me in because their was going to be a mormon on the show. Well as i continued watching they showed a blonde hair guy that looked so familiar. As i watched this guy i was saying in my head "no that cant be him, but boy he looks a lot like Chet Cannon" (Chet is a guy that i got to know through a guy that i hung out with one summer) Anyways, while this was going on in my head, i kept rewinding and playing when i finally went up stairs to grab my laptop. I went to MTV's website, clicked Real World then cast bio's and guess what it was HIM!!!

I stopped watching The Real World because it just got retard but now i am excited to watch it, not only because i know Chet but because what he will do with his religion in the spot light. But i hope he does a better job than the last mormon on the show, Julie who was on The Real World: New Orleans. She was interesting. So if anyone is interested, the season started January 7th!

Tis the time... Resolution time

So...... Last year i made a resolution that i wouldnt drink soda for a year, nothing zilch. I did so good, occasionaly i would have my dr. pepper cravings but i just had to go do something else before it became to powerful to the point i would walk out to my car and drive to mooches (gas station, known by loganites)  to get DP. BUT, i got myself into trouble when a big group of aggies went down to Mexico for spring break, you all know to not drink the water down there (unless you want to have a horrible break) so i drank coca cola instead and it was only suppose to be for the break then i would go back to my no drinking soda. YAH, that didnt happen. I pretty much said screw this and i went and got a Dr. Pepper, and boy like Jim Carrey said in "Bruce Almighty" it was GGggoooooooooooddd. So now i am at it again with resolution again, but this time i will stay strong! This time instead of one, i have a couple. Lets hope that i will stay strong.

here they are
1. Save at LEAST $8,000- i have a huge shopping problem, their is even a movie that was about a book that is actually about ME. I need to stop it, so this will test me with my shopping. What can i say i love clothes, and more i like the expensive things. NOT GOOD

2. Lose 15 pounds - ya i know every time i tell someone this, they say "no you dont, you look good" thats false. Ever since i had some boys on the USU basketball team ask me if i had butt implants, i have been trying to work on getting rid of that. It hasnt happened yet BUT it will!!!!

Well, all i have to say is tune in later to hear how i am doing,  if i have failed, or if i have yet to fail. you will have to wait out a year to see if i have accomplished my goals!

What is your favorite?

Today I went to my parents church and while i was listening to the Christmas music people were singing, i was thinking what is my favorite Christmas song. I never really thought about this because in general, i love all Christmas music. I couldnt narrow it down to one, so i have a couple, well a couple songs, and an album. First off, Charlie Brown's Christmas soundtrack, i love every song on that cd and my home teacher said that he thinks its annoying, HOW? Their are two songs that are my favorite by Mannheim Steamroller, "Carol of the Bells" and my favorite of favorite "Little Drummer Boy" the reason why i love that song so much is because i did a christmas dance to it. I remember only the first part, we were all dressed in drummer costumes and i was the young one, everyone else was older than me so i got to be the one that made the silly (on purpose) mistakes, loved it.  I love all christmas music, and i get so sad every time when it goes away.

Reflection

We are now 5 days away from Christmas and 11 days till New Years. Recently i have just been remembering the fun memories that have cherished in 2008 and man i will never for get them. I have had some funny memories like

after a huge snow storm up in Logan, I got into my snow gear and jumped off our balcony into a pile snow. Yes, it did hurt, just because Tyler and Coy decided to do this before and ruin all the fresh powdered snow. Another one was going down our stairs on a cookie sheet, i thought i was going to die. I also experienced my first sledding down old main hill in not only just a sled but  in a chair that had skis on the bottom and i went down in a laundry basket (it broke). 16 hours car drive to Rocky Point, Mexico where a huge group of us aggies decided to blend into the Hispanic atmosphere were i hung out at the beach, shopped, went to a club, checked out there "theme" park (never will do that again), and my first "looking at the stars on the beach curled up in a blanket" makeout sess. Another fun memory was going to the Alpha Chi formal, i never had so much fun dancing esp. with my girls. I will always remember the moment when my roommate got a text from a friend saying that President Hinckley had passed away.

This summer was not my usually summer, well it shouldnt have been. I took a summer class and for a month i went and than i realized that i cant go to school during the summer, so i stopped going (what a waste of money, i know). This summer also was a little depressing because i knew in the fall i wouldnt be going back to Logan for school and that i would be staying but than i met Mckensie Smith and she changed things, she is such a positive person and i have to say thank you to Sarah so introducing her to me! At the end of the summer, two of my Alpha Chi sisters went on a short vacation to Las Vegas and that in its own had many many fun stories. This summer i started to ready Twilight, and now i am OBSESSED! I love going to midnight movies and a big group of my friends went on saw Dark Knight and i have to say that was the best movie of this year!

This fall, not much has happened I have had some crazy conversations with friends, but my best weekend was in November, my friend Caitlin and I went to a 2:30AM showing of Twilight and i now hate to say this but i have seen it 3 times so far and i am not done (haha) then the next night, i went to the Coldplay concert and oh my, best concert so far. Now i am finishing up the remainder of the year and i cant wait to go through everyday because i will be with my friends and family.

Im so excited for 2009 to come, i have many things that i am doing and would like to do and i cant wait to experience them, 2009 here i come

April 14th

About a couple weeks ago, my best friend from high school asked me if i wanted to go to the Britney Spears concert. Before she asked this question, i was thinking about going but i had no idea who with, because i went to Coldplay by myself and it would have been so fun to be with someone.  So when she asked me, i think i said these exact words "hell yes." So as of right now, on April 14th at ESA, i will be in what i think are the best seats to see Ms. Spears, dancing and singing the night away.  I am currently listening to her music so i can refreshen up on some of the lyrics, because YES i will be singing along, no doubt. Now the bestest part of this concert is that i feel like i am getting 2 for 1 because The Pussycat Dolls are opening for Ms. S, so i for sure will not be a late comer. So Taylor, i think this will be the best night we have had for a long, long time and Im Excited

YELLOW = motive and fun

About two weeks ago i was working a night shift at Altaview hospital and some of the nurses and i were talking about the "color test" Like you can be red, blue, yellow, etc and it tells you what type of personality you have. Well i went online to www.colorcode.com and answered many questions and i turned out to be a yellow and boy it is dead on with my personality. This is what it said and if you know me, this pretty much describes me.

"YELLOW's are motivated by fun, they love playful interaction and can be extremely sociable. Yellows need to be adored and praised while they are carefree, they are sensitive and highly alert to others agendas to control them. Yellows typically carry within themselves the gift of a good heart. Yellows need to look good socially and friendships command a high priority in their lives. Yellows are happy, articulate, engaging of others and CRAVE adventure. EASILY distracted, they can NEVER sit still for long. They embrace each day in the "present tense" and choose people who, like themselves, enjoy a curious nature. Yellows are charismatic, SPONTANEOUS and positive: but can also be irresponsible and obnoxious and FORGETFUL. When you deal with a yellow, take a positive, upbeat approach and promote light hearted, creative, and fun interactions."

for those who know me, what do you think?

Viva La Vida!

On November 22nd at about 8:30pm i decided after i was done babysitting some adorable kids to head down to Energy Solutions Arena to experience the best concert i have been to so far. COLDPLAY!!!! the new sound system in ESA was awesome and Chris Martin was fabulous. Even though it was weird going to a concert by myself, but hey if i went with someone i wouldnt have sat where i sat! Every song they played was awesome, i didnt want it to end. The best part of this concert was that, here you are watching them on stage and all of a sudden they disappear and all of a sudden they are running up the stairs at the other end of the arena and they play in the crowd! it was awesome! the only thing i felt bummed about is that my camera died and on top of that my pictures didnt really turn out, stupid camera. Oh well i will remember this concert forever.
